I just got a new 3D card and well, the fps display is showing a really incredible frame rate. My landscape is getting between 320-360 fps, at least acording to the FPS display by TV.

I was getting around 28 fps. I havn't noticed any thing wrong with the 3d display. It is smoother but I can't believe that I had that much of a speed increase.

My board still has the old 2x AGP slot, so I'm not even using the card to potential.

Here's the details on the new card in case you need to know:
Xabre Pro 8x/4x/2x AGP
128 MB DDR
8 GB bandwidth
T&L Support
Based on a new SiS chipset

If you need more details on the card let me know, just thought I'd let you know that there might be some thing odd with this new card and TV.

Well FPS information is accurate, if you get 320fps you get 320fps
It's kinda logical.

I'm sometimes getting 4000fps with some very small tutorial Smiley

Be glad to have so a so big FPS number heh

You know the speed of the AGP port does not really matter cos the 2x, 4x etc means how fast is the memory transfer between your card and the CPU. But since 2x is pretty fast you wouldn't notice much difference (if any at all) if you switched to a 4x AGP motherboard unless you are using very high resolution textures and/or high resolutions (above 1024*768). What does matter though is the speed of your processor. If it's below 1-1,2Ghz then probably it's holding back your card.

not to brag here, i have a gf4 ti 4200 and i can easily get 800-1100 fps on some landscapes.  detail texture settings affect the speed a lot, actually.
