Who is General Failure and why is he reading my HD

WWW

I get the following error when I try to run ModelView from the latest release.

When I click cancel I get the following.

Could it be caused by missing .net files?

I'm running this on Vista Home Premium - 4GB DDR2 RAM, AMD 4800+ DualCore - XFX Geforce 7950 GX2 1GB latest drivers.

Have you guys got a dev license active? I've not yet bothered to generate one for myself, and I don't have any problem running ModelView.

Looks like you might be missing the .Net Framework. I believe the TV tools use the 2.0 version, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft site.

It's not .net related but a few missing dll's.

I put the following dll's in to the model view directory and it appears to be working fine.

D3DCompiler_36.dll
d3dx9_36.dll

For anyone else with this issue try putting those dll's in the modelview directory and try again.

Yep! I did the same and now don't need the dll's in the directory.
