Im not exactly sure if this is TrueVision related, but it only happens when im working on Truevision projects...

Mainly what happens is that I will be coding away at my game.. Testing it from time to time, then one time when I go to run it my computer reboots. no warning.. force reboot..

First thing I check when I log back in, is the debug file. But the file never gets created, so that doesnt help me.. This also happens on different machines and different code (even the samples given)

The second thing I have noticed is that randomly when I run a TV project, my FPS is at 1. I have to save my code, close my project and reopen it for it to go back to normal, again this happens on different machines and different code.

Is it only me experiecing this?

first thing could be your video drivers as noone else is complaining about that, what video card do you have?

the second thing is probably because tv starts in reference mode, are you cleaning up all your objects and do you shut down your app correctly?

Sounds like a clasic memory leak.
Probably you are not destroying all the object, materials etc etc when you exit - and never use the end statement.

I never use the End statement, and i checked over the killing of the engine when exiting, and all seems to be removed before the closure of program... may have to check it again.

as for video card..

lets see what kind i have tested on..

GF2 GTS Pro
GF2 MX
GF3 ti500
ATI Raedon 9700
4mb 3DFX

and some unknown one..

Well, check simply in the debug file created by the engine, if it's written that an object hasn't been released Smiley you will know then...
