I don't see fog (in Atmosphere) on my Radeon 7500 Pro LE.
I tested it on a G-Force and that was working fine!
Strange...
I thougt it could be a bug.

hey squeezer

Did you notice this problem with every kind of fog?
I think that some older cards doesn't support every kind of fog, so could you if possible check the other type/algo of fog (especially linear and vertex/pixel). It would be great to know if it's a bug or not Smiley

Thanks

Ok, I did some tests... Its the vertex/pixel stuff.
With pixel, i dont have any fog, with vertex, i have lot's of fog :-)

I am not sure, but could it be that the 'vertex' is less good as 'pixel'.
Because with vertex, the corners of my skybox are more foggy than the rest. By that you can see clearly that we are using a skybox. And thats not fun for the players Sad

My graphical card (Radeon 7500) isn't that old I think.
Less then a year anyway...

Well to avoid that, try to render the skybox without the fog like this :

Code:
Atmos.Fog_Enable False
Atmos.Atmosphere_Render
Atmos.Fog_Enable True

That could help to reduce the artifacts.

The problem seems that your card doesn't support Pixel fog :s...

It's the ATI problem again. I'm having the same problems on my ATI Radeon 8500LE card.

ATI Radeon does not support Pixelfog!
Thats not a Bug, it's not a feature from ATI Radeon.
