ImportAnimations appears to be broken on my end. It will import the animation and the debug dumps:

Quote
05-27-2008 05:28:11 | ACTOR MANAGER : Animations successfully imported

However, the animation when run appears to be blank. I even tried SaveTVA and loaded the model in to MV. The animation is registered but when I try to run it nothing happens, it is as though the data isn't actually imported across. I have tried this with 4 different models now.

Anybody else able to replicate this, or is it just happening to me?

Yes, I can confirm this. It's odd as I'm sure it was working at some stage between this release and the previous release. Sylvain was good enough to spend some time trying to fix it and I'm sure I tested a version where it was working correctly again, but now the whole ImportAnimations/ExportAnimations seems to be broken again.

I keep a very old version of the Managed DLL ( from about a year ago ) which works perfectly and I use that with C# or ModelView when I need to import or export animations, but it's less than ideal. It does prove that the actors I'm using are valid and should work though.

I'm a bit laid up at the moment ( broke a bone in my foot ) but when I'm able to sit comfortably at the computer for a few hours, I'll have another go and see if I can provide any more information.

EDIT: I think AddAnimationRange is broken too. Either that or SaveTVA is broken. If I add animation ranges and save to TVA, the resulting actor crashes TV when I try to load it.

Yea, it used to work. But I haven't used it in ages, so it might be a few builds back. I guess I will revert to the January build for now. Thanks for confirming sybixsus. Smiley

Same here. Log says everything went fine but the actor will cause a crash.
Any news on this?
