Hi,

I found this bug while I was testing out the Space Sim Tutorial (A17). It shows the Spaceship passing under the flare instead of over, at least I think its a bug, but it doesn't look right. Anyway here is a screenie.

I don't think it should change. The lensflare is created in the lens of the "virtual" camera, and will go on top of everything in front of it.

I could't find an example just like yours, but these are pictures of real (not photoshop'ed) lensflares.

EvilJocke was right people!

you have fixed a non-bug... the lens flear allways is produced at the cammera level, so it renders over the scene, over the cammera lens, it only disapears when the source light is ocluded, but if it's not, the lens flear should be visible even if it's over objects

we have been triying to put it right but we have found that you can't lensflear.render...  so we have to change the order in the render of the atmos, and it apears a really ugly cliping plane destroying the scene, it actually sucks big time

 :?  :?

hope you can solve this (we are using 6.5)

LOL Yeah I know but that's the only problem I've found with the LensFlare by TV, and I suppose it should be simple to fix for Sylvain  Tongue

I guess if it's inside TV it's to make life easier, and It's not working as a "real" lens flare....

Oh well...I guess I'll make my own Lensflare

Cya!
