I get the same thing, but I get it for the Delphi DLL and the b DLL ( not sure what TV3D65b.dll is, VB? )

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32 bit, if that makes a difference, and didn't have these problems with any of the closed beta setups.

EDIT: Oh, and the demo crashes when I try to run it too. Possibly because one or both DLL's didn't register? I don't know. Normally I can run TV stuff without registering any DLL's, but perhaps the demo uses another DLL as well as the MTV3D65.dll?

We think its because the 64bits D3DX dll which were put by accident in the setups.
We're trying to fix the setups ASAP.
Keep updated on the news, new setups should be ready later today.

Sorry for the inconvenience !

Moreover you must have Admin privileges and probably UAC disabled in Vista to be able to register correctly the DLLs Wink

A working fix is to get the good 32bits D3DX9_35.dll and D3DCompiler_35.dll from DirectX August redist or from another site and put them in System directory. Try then to register the dll manually.

Where do I get D3DCompiler_35.dll from? I installed the August SDK update and I didn't get that file.

EDIT: Never mind, I found the web install on the MS website, and that works. The one which Arli or DarqShadow were linking to in another thread around here didn't work, but this one seems fine.

Is this message related? I'm trying to run the C# template:

Code:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.BadImageFormatException' occurred in system.windows.forms.dll

Additional information: The format of the file 'MTV3D65' is invalid.

Yes it's probably related to the x64 thing.

One other thing to check :
if you are running VS2005 or VS2008 on a 64bits OS, make sure you're compiling your project in 32bits mode, not in "Any CPU" or "x64" mode.
