Hey!

I'm working in Delphi 7 with the Truevision3D 6.5 software. Initial programming with the software package went well, so I went ahead and purchased a multi-product license. I downloaded the LicenseSign application and installed it, setting up a license... and now, nothing works. It started with this error message the next time I even tried to run the delphi template:

Project Template.exe raised exception class EAccessViolation with message 'Access violation at address 100868A3 in module 'TV3D65.dll'. Write of address 002F1000'. Process stopped.

I played around with the SetLicenseFile command, no luck. So, rather than wasting time I decided to just uninstall 6.5 and go back to using the unlicensed version for now. I uninstalled the software, removed the type libraries from Delphi, and reinstalled everything. The exception is still there... so, essentially, I destroyed the software by trying to use my licensed version. ^_^

I really don't care about getting rid of the watermark right now... I just need to be able to actually run programs on the development machine. Help?

The license file is corrupt. It usually dumps in your documents folder( it has the .lic extension ), if you tried for a dev license I mean. Deleting the file should solve the problem and it should then run. I assume currently even the modelview application fails. It's worth noting that uninstalling 6.5 won't remove the license file -- which is why you're still getting the exception.

If that fixes it, try generating the license again. If this in turn causes the exception once more run the dxdiag utility and paste the output here. The license is generated off hardware so something in there must not be playing nice. This happens sometimes unfortunately.

Also, welcome to the forum Smiley.
