When building the C Sharp template with the included MTV3D65.dll (v6.5.3592.27935) the application will stop at TV.Init3DWindowed() with an "SEHException was unhandled" coming from MTV3D65. If I replace the reference to the new dll with that of version 6.5.3353.21250 everything works fine.

Do you have a Developer License installed on this machine?
If so, you have to regenerate it with the new license signer.

Please also post the debug file to see where it stops.

It was indeed the dev license that needed to be regenerated. I also had the same problem with the Model Viewer and regenerating the dev license seems to have fixed that as well.
