I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I can't seem to change the text font size or underline values (with any noticeable effects).  There isn't much on the forums about it, but someone else had the same problem and just used a workaround (scale) and nothing on the bugtracker (I believe...).  Is this a bug?

The debug file states:

MESH MANAGER : Create3DText : Couldn't create 3D text mesh. DirectX error -2005530516

I called Create3dText("Test", "Arial", 12, 5, 0, False, False) once, and everything looked correct.  The text rendered properly (always has).

I changed the size from 12 to 20 to 30, but the text seems unaffected.  I then enabled underline and the text still did not change.

I changed the deviation value to 1 and it appeared to work as it was supposed to.  I changed the text and it worked fine.  I changed the font, all ok.  The extrude value works correctly also.  Bold works correctly, also.

However...  I was unable to reproduce the error.  I don't remember what it was that caused it (there was something else about mesh format, so I will look into that) and I will try later when I have more time.  Sorry for the disappointment...  Tongue
