You meant "detective", right?

adding a letter or changing a letter of a game's name doesn't make it cooler. Monster Trux is a perfect example of this.

nevertheless, a good play on words could be done here, like Detechtives. But just switching the letter c to k, doesnt make it look cool

Why is everyone commenting on the name ?? He did say it was only a working title (in the title of the thread) so he may as well name it something like "The incredible adventures of Tobby Tobbs in Spiderland" for all we know... Tongue

Now, a credible comment would be: the art looks great, the lightmapped room and texturing. Although the video is low res, if you have that level of quality in the rest of your 3d art that would be quite amazing. I imagine it could get expensive getting good artists to create a large amount of such art?

Any screenshots?

That is the spelling for Detective in other languages.

I am loving the use of black... my art teacher always used to say that black was the most important color in a painting...  Tongue

Is this going to be one of those games where you are locked in a room and you have to figure out why you are locked in the room and how to get out?

Yes, that is some very good art by tv3d-games standards.
Of course there are things I could critique, but I feel I shouldn't because I rarely see something of this level in the forums. Was that art made only for this game or did you buy different pieces?

Nice dynamic gui too. Is it with many textures in layers, or only one big animated texture?

Good stuff! I like how your GUI opens. Good job on the mirror. How is your collision system coping with the bed and night stand, does the character walk on it?

Cool, great work... love to see more adventure style games and old time puzzel solving.

I also like the GUI, can you write a few lines on how it's made?
