I have been trying out some little projects using the Wiimote and Nunchuk as inputs for PC games (Using the TV3D engine 6.5)

The download is the C# source code and you need a TV3D 6.5 beta license to be able to run it.
I am going to carry on now with some other game ideas that I have for these control inputs, and I may polish this game a bit more if I am allowed to release it to the masses.

I have no WiiMote atm. but I'm thinking of buying one for testing some ideas, it's great to see, that already someone created a TV Application using Wii controls.

Yes it was Brian Peeks library that I used and I can vouch for it was very easy to implement.

It allows reading in inputs very easily, as well as sending outputs to the rumble, LEDs and speaker.

I have also messed around with tweaking it and using a Widcomm and Microsoft Bluetooth stack drivers to see if we can get the wiimotes connected automatically inside the actual game, but I have come to the conclusion that the amount of coding needed to cleanly do this for both Blueotth stacks isn't worth the end result so you are best off still using the Windows connect methods like the tutorial explains and connect the Wiimote before you start any games that use it.

I havent actually looked at the wiimote stuff (yet to get my self one) but have been playing with bluetooth gps. What I have been doing is simply cycling through all the com ports (up to  com40) and deciding if i'm getting any data i can recognise. If so i make a connection to it and set this as the default in the app. When a bluetooth device is paired it will always connect on the same port.

Now I dont know if this is completly irrellevent as the wiimote possibly (probably!) doesnt support spp (serial port profiles).
