Geonardo 1.6 is up! You can find it at :  http://www.ftw-studios.com/tv3d/zepadev/

Version 1.6 Release notes
--------------------------------------------------
Added Eichi's PSSM (Shadow mapping system).
Added Support for nUI as the official UI for geonardo.
Added Drag and drop support for placing new objects.
Added Mouse dragging for placed Actors and Mesh.
Added UpdateMovement to the movementtracker class (internal movement handle for simple usage w/a/s/d).
Updated The user interface has been reworked. No more tabs.
Updated The sky code to blend the horizon better.
Fixed A bug with the scripting engine not initializing scripts properly on map reloads.
Fixed A timing issue with TimeElapsed for spline movement.

I would like to thank Brac and Eichi for time spent with me on this round of code.

Here is a snap of the new interface and a scene shot, there is also a fully functioning demo world with actors and assets in this build.

New UI:

Wow, very nice. This editor has come along way. I am downloading 1.6 right now to test it out. Are you ever planning to add aksoysoft's Dynamic Bloom?

I took a look at the video, and the version of bloom in this one does include a highpass filter. I suspect it would be very easy to add anything like that either as a scripted effect or I can at some point put it in.

I do have a script based effect system that comes with init/update/render/destroy so you can do your own shader based pre in or post process effect shader or non shader driven.

If you place an object and rotates it like with Alt+<> and then saves the project. next time you open the project you have to rotate it again. extremly frustrating Smiley but the editor is nice and great.

Thanks for reporting that. I will make sure it's taken care of.

So How much does this cost? I went to the website and clicked product pricing but it has nothing. If it's a case of me emailing to find out then I'll pass.

Don't get this type of setup. What's wrong with putting the price on the website with a button to buy?

Later....

I'd like to start experimenting with this tool but I'm at a total loss on how to get started.  Are there any tutorials for this?

I wish Hawthorne was still around.

I am having some serious issues with 1.6

Does anyone here use 1.6?
