EvoGUI is now free!

Yes, you can use it in any way you like, commercial products included, and you don't need to share any modifications you make etc. Smiley

I have not changed the text of the licence on the download site and within the download itself, but as of today you can feel free to disregard it. I surely won't change my mind again, so you don't need to worry. I will change it officially to GPL or something similiar in the near future - if anyone really cares about the official texts more than my word. Wink

I have also made several improvements since the last public release, but I will release the new version only once I have added a few more features. It will be in 3-6 months from now, depending on how i order my working schedule as I am working on more important parts of my project right now. Once that is released, I will also create the SVN.

As far as support goes, you can ask questions and I will usually answer them if/when I get the time. So far most questions about functionality have been addressed and I've added/changed some features as a result.

One user also ported it to C# so if anyone needs this port, let me know and I will upload it.

Cheers

I'm not so sure I should post it, because then people might start improving the two different versions in different directions. What do you think?

Some other reasons for not posting it is: 1-When I post the future updates they will all be in VB so you may adopt it just as well and 2-It really isn't that much of a hassle to implement it into a C# project, you only need to take care of the optional parameters and voila.

yea, don't convert it to C#, every decent .NET programmer can convert it to C# him/herself Smiley

GPL would make it unusable by anyone looking to make a closed source application.

I vote for BSD, MIT, ZLIB or similar license.

Okay, which ever licence lets you do anything you want with it is good for me. I'll have to read up on those licence types, but until I do - it's totally free, like free beer or free love, or whatever Smiley
