Hello, hey its me the author of that 3D RPG maker. I took alittle break from doing the big project and created a small one. It is known as Brick Space. It was based upon an old concept I had for years. It is similar to breakout, but based totally in a 3D box instead of a 2D plane. Your point of view is behind a semi-transparent paddle which is moved with a mouse. The ball hits cubes and has many levels.

Said something about some system files being out of date during setup. I canceled due to the fact I cannot restart (might be able to do so in a week or so but not before that). Is it easy for you to post the requirments? I want to see if there is any little hack I can do to see the app earlier. Thanks, and sorry for the unusual request.

And umm, I managed to run it and it crashed in fullscreen mode. I had to restart my computer.
Hopefully I didn't have any unsaved work.

which resolution did you use. Seems like even mine crashes in 1280x1024 mode. Maybe I should remove it in my next compile. try 800x600 and see if it works.

Well, I downloaded it and tried to run it in 800 by 600, but it worked fine except for the fact that the mouse didn't quite work  *sniffle* Hope that you can fix this "bug", even if it is a bug.

yeah I am aware of this problem. Try closing down background applications and see if that affects the game play. Have to see if it is a mouse polling issue with Truevision also and see if can get it to read the mouse better.

Is it possible that you could also add a windowed version of it?

I believe I fixxed the issue of the paddle movement being sluggish. I simply compile it with one of the later service packs and re-arranged the code. Now it seems to be running more smoothly.
