Ok, I have been on this project for about a week now, and I'm busy making a FPS using all of the brilliant features of the TV engine. The game is set in the near feature and take role as a undercover agent who has been sent to a top secret military base to get information on a top secret biological reaserch project. The only problem is that when you arrive at your destination, everyone around you is dead.
And now you are surrounded by hordes of unded humans and deadly biologicalaly enchaced super soldiers.

The beta version of the game should be out by January, and here are some of the features in the game:

Dramatic Camera behavior
Motion Blur
Cube Maping for ultra realistic water
Music by Rob Zombie
A VERY intense and scary enviroment
Detailed levels
DOT 3 Bump Maping

I will post some pics soon, so you can all see Bite Steel !!!!!! Cheesy

Rob Zombie made music for your game, or are you stealing some of his work?

yah... rob might like it if you ask him permission first... if he doesn't respond, there's lots of independant musicians on the net who would be more than willing to let you use their tunes if you ask them.... I'm sure all they'd want is some screentime in the credits.....

I'm one of them btw... http://bytesmasher.ath.cx/stuff/music .... feel free to use my music if you put a line in the credits saying the music was created by "Shaun Winters"... and give me a full copy of the completed game when it's done... but I'm sure you don't want my techno crap... it's not that close to either of the zombie bros...

Hmm, oh yes, I'm kinda stealing the artwork and copyrighted material to a popular game because it kinda fits the mood of my game as well.  The game is called Doom 3, you heard of it?  Not a big deal, really.

Oh, and I'm kinda stealing this new computer because it fits into the theme of my room well.  Not a big deal.

Heck, while I'm at it, I'm kinda stealing some money from the bank because it fits in well with the money already in my wallet.

Just because it fits doesnt mean you can steal it.

Its funny how most of the time I get flamed for most of my ideas. I dont know why everyone is always negative towards my ideas. Yes, I will use Rob Zombies music, and yes I will email him and ask him premission. If he does not reply then I will use Bytes music. If this is how most of the poeple behave on the forums towards other poeple, then maybe this should change.

you got flamed because you're doing exactly what we all fighting against: piracy.

i'd like to see your reaction, 5 years from now, when your game is going to be sold on the market and some unknown guy comes up with the idea of taking 5 years of your painfull and sweating work and simply use it, like this, without any permission...

I echo what Newbor says.

In addition to that, this isn't an "idea" that is even remotely moral.  What did you want us to say?  "Good idea, goodluck stealing someone elses work!".

So basically, you want this forum to become a hotbed of piracy and theft from professionals?  Is that what you are suggesting?  It is not that we are negative people.  I hope you succeed and your game works well, makes millions and gets TV some fame.  But I do have a problem with people coming in here and blatantly stating they are commiting theft.
